Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Sommelier located in Sydney, NSW. The Sommelier will be responsible for managing the wine program, including wine pairing, wine sales, and wine inventory management. The role involves providing expert advice on wine selections, collaborating with the kitchen team on wine and food pairings, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. The Sommelier will also assist with training staff on wine knowledge and service procedures, and will be involved in organizing wine-related events. Qualifications Proficiency in Wine Pairing and Wine SalesExperience as a Sommelier and in the Food & Beverage industryExcellent communication skillsStrong knowledge of wine varieties, regions, and wine service techniquesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPassion for wines and delivering excellent guest experiencesCertification or formal training as a Sommelier is a plus
