Where you'll be working Royal North Shore Hospital - Outpatient Department What You'll Be Doing The Patient Services Admission Officer, Emergency Department (ED) is responsible for the timely admission (administrative) and/or transfer of all patients who present to Emergency Department. The position plays a pivotal role in interviewing, correctly classifying patients and providing accurate and timely information about using private health insurance within the public hospital system. Other general Emergency Department administrative functions which also includes providing switchboard relief. People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
