The opportunity PHYZFIT Health & Rehab is seeking a passionate and experienced Part-Time Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. This is a part-time role with flexible hours ( with view of increasing to full-time ), allowing you to balance your work and personal commitments. Key responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the unique needs of each child Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to help children reach their full potential Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care Provide therapy, support, and educational services in a clinic, school, or home-based setting Document progress and maintain accurate client records Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities Work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to provide the best treatment approach for each client What we're looking for Bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with children, preferably in a paediatric setting New graduates welcome to apply Strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of each child Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with families and other professionals Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children and their families Mixed caseload - Predominately working with paediatric with infrequent older patients What we offer We pay a professional development contribution each calendar year We provide mentoring and supervision each week to begin, then fortnightly, then monthly Ongoing support from your multi-disciplinary tea and 24/7 support to the principal at the clinic Competitive salary At PHYZFIT Health & Rehab, we value our employees and strive to create a supportive and inclusive work environment.
