This is a permanent full-time position commencing ASAP The Infrastructure Division is responsible for the planning, construction and maintenance of the Department’s schools and building facilities. Infrastructure services and supports: school and facility planning capital works on new and existing schools maintenance of existing schools management and operational support of school facilities and resources. The Role The Principal Project Officer leads a team who deliver capital projects, minor works and advises on matters relating to school facilities. They coordinate and contribute to the development of infrastructure at public schools across Western Australia. If successful, it will be your responsibility to assess the feasibility of projects, negotiate with school staff and communities regarding priority of needs, develop projects with internal and external stakeholders, and manage project budgets. You will need to mentor and lead team members with a focus on customer service delivery and continuous improvement, as well as prepare high level briefings and advice.
