Position Summary and Purpose: Country Manager oversees the operations of the Business in Australia.His/her main goal is to define the appropriate strategy to deliver the best performance for his business in full consistency with the overall strategy and the values/internal rules of the group.A specific target is to properly face a customer and market transformation.The company has a Challenge to ensure profitability at short/medium term and to build up a winning organisation for the future. A turnaround & transformation plan (shift)has been designed and is being implemented to restore the profitability and company sustainability. Job Responsibilities:1. Develops, proposes and executes the strategic plan for his Business Segment.Identifies the priority market segments & relevant commercial strategyDefines and propose the business targets according to his/her strategyIdentifies the needed means to achieve his/her targets (including the industrial footprint and the relevant implementation steps) 2. Develops, proposes and executes the budget for the country business.Drives the following functions in charge of performing for the global scope of the market Has the full responsibility for the P&L of his/her SegmentHas the responsibility of the operational performance of the factories he/she supervises for the overall benefit.Ensures continuous result monitoring of the different units of his Segment and implements measures for continuous improvement.He/she is responsible for optimizing the working capital and cash generation, validates objectives and monitor achievement in term of OM & WC. Bring support in case of major deviation if needed.Define and implement management routines to ensure proper monitoring inside plants and between plants & sales.Monitor industrial performance in term of safety, quality, deliveries, costs and inventories. Organize support if needed. 3. Drives the transformation of the current organizationSets up world class Supply Chain function linking the different sales networks and the factories he/she supervises, in full consistency with the other BU’sLeverages and strengthens industrial foot-printOptimizes the indirect structure to minimize indirect costs 4. Drives the necessary transformation program of the current methods, working habits, customer relations, to maintain the relevant level of profitability of the business for each entity. He/she make the entire organization agile and innovative to adopt these new methods 5. Implements the change program inside the organization to engage and mobilize managers and people to make transformation sustainable on the long-term run
