What you’ll be doingThis role is based in our Springfield Lakes office, where you’ll play a key role in supporting critical processing and data collection, while continuously building on your accounting skills to become a trusted advisor to our clients. No task is beneath anyone’s role here. We’re hands-on, helpful, and always learning from each other, open to fresh ideas and better ways of working. Your typical week might include:Preparing financial accounts, ATO returns, tax, BAS, IAS & FBT.Developing strong client relationships and delivering tailored, practical solutions and exceptional service.Keeping up to date with accounting, tax, and business law changes.Working across various service lines, from bookkeeping to business advisory.Managing company secretarial matters, client correspondence & compliance.Identifying business opportunities for managers and directors.Assisting junior staff and contributing to a positive, professional work environment. Your technical accounting expertise is excellent, and you pair it with a personalised approach that builds trust and delivers results. We’d love to connect if you:Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or equivalent (CPA/CA a bonus)Have 5 years’ experience in a small to medium accounting practiceAre a strong problem-solver and take initiativeCommunicate confidently with clients and colleaguesWork well independently and collaborativelyAre proficient with Xero (a must); experience with MYOB and Quickbooks (a bonus) All candidates must have full working rights within Australia, only candidates with a right to work in Australia will be considered.
