Where you'll be working These part time positions will be based at the Mona Vale and Brookvale Centres of Northern Sydney Home Nursing Service (NSHNS). What you'll be doing As a Clinical Nurse Educator you will provide clinical leadership, education training and inspiration in the clinical development for current and new nurses within NSHNS. The role of Clinical Nurse Educator opens itself to innovative learning and development approaches to enhance and promote competent nursing teams in the successful delivery of safe high-level care and treatment to all patients. NSHNS is a generalist Community Nursing Service visiting clients in their own homes and in clinic environments for a range of care including comprehensive assessments, referrals on to other services and specialists depending on client need; medication administration (oral, parenteral, topical etc), wound management – acute and chronic, simple to complex including compression therapy, NPWT, pressure injury management, conservative sharp wound debridement and vascular profiling etc; palliative care through to EOL care, syringe driver management, respiratory/heart failure monitoring, IDC/SPC changes and support, continence assessments, CVAD care and more. People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply. Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: Holds AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse AND holds relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer.
