Job summary: Flexible hours available Expected salary: $76,000 - $78,000 per year Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen - accepted Sponsorship may be available Position: Full-time Westmeadows Medical Centre is a fully-accredited with QPA and is a well-established family oriented medical practice located in Hume City Council. Our relationship with our patients is built on the foundation of trust, professional approach and delivering high quality of health care. We are looking for a Registered Nurse with a little experience working in a general practice setting to start as soon as possible. The nursing role will involve: Immunisations and venepuncture Wound care and management ECG's Patient follow up and recall Care plans and Health Assessments in collaboration with treating doctor Assisting Doctors with home visits Meeting new patients and entering vital stats Management of cold chain and infection control systems Working with practice staff when required Meeting practice targets both clinical and financial Data quality and data entry into clinical software Liaising with treating doctors, reception team, allied health workers, reps. pathology Perform any other nursing related duties Staff education and clinical induction Attending practice meetings Previous Experience in General Practice - desirable but not required. Knowledge and confident computer skills (Medical Director and Pracsoft a bonus) - desirable but not required Current registration with AHPRA & CPR certificate Be professional, polite & courteous with a positive can-do attitude. Reliable with attendance and adherence to scheduled shift Ability to work on rostered shift from Mondays-Fridays 9am-7pm, Saturdays 9am-5pm Please send your resume and cover letter.
