Join Spectrum Village – Autism Learning Centre as our next Allied Health Assistant (Food Play) in Hervey Bay. What you’ll be doing Food Play & Feeding Support: run play-based, sensory food exploration; prep simple activities; support safe eating strategies set by our therapists. Therapy implementation: carry out programs designed by OTs, Speech Pathologists, and our Dietitian (centre-based). Connection with families: build warm, trusting relationships that make therapy fun and functional. Collaboration: work closely with clinicians to track progress toward individual goals. Is passionate about supporting neurodivergent children (Autism, ADHD, etc.). Communicates clearly, is proactive, team-oriented, and organised. Believes in family-centred , strengths-based care and early intervention . Qualifications – you could be A qualified Early Childhood Teacher ; or A Uni student studying Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology ; or Completed (or willing to complete ) Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance . Compliance & checks Current Driver’s Licence Blue Card (Working with Children) NDIS Worker Screening Check First Aid/CPR National Police Check Hours: 10–26 per week – we’ll build a roster that suits you.
