Your next career opportunity As the Manager of the Health Service, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing operations to ensure high-quality healthcare delivery to the University community. You will manage staff, develop internal processes, and collaborate with various stakeholders to maintain AGPAL accreditation and align the service with broader university strategies. Your responsibilities will include: Implement ing Strategic Plans: Develop ing and execut ing strategies for the growth and safe operation of the Health Service. O versee ing Health Service Operations: Manag ing financial, business, and clinical aspects, ensuring compliance with AGPAL accreditation. Lead ing and Supervis ing Staff: Provid ing leadership, allocat ing responsibilities, and resolv ing interpersonal conflicts within the team. Manag ing Complex Clinical Issues: Provid ing expert advice and manag ing significant health and psychosocial risk issues. You may be a great fit if: You have extensive experience managing health services, with a strong focus on clinical governance, operational management, and quality assurance, coupled with excellent communication and organisational skills. You may also: Have a degree in health management or equivalent experience in medical practice management. Possess extensive experience in clinical and operational governance within a health setting. Demonstrate expertise in financial management and business planning for health service including M edicare and OSHC billing. Have specialist training in AGPAL accreditation , clinical governance, and conducting quality audits and quality improvements .
