Introduction Your Impact: As a Volunteer Program Lead, you will play a key role: Develop and implement a contemporary Volunteer Engagement Strategy that builds and strengthens Good Sammy’s workforce capacity to deliver on our strategic objectives. Develop a volunteer workforce that is engaged and passionate about supporting our purpose. Establish effective strategic partnerships with educational institutions, corporates organisations, community organisations and Registered Training Organisations. Seek out opportunities for positive promotion, awards and recognition for our Good Sammy Volunteer Program. Description What you'll do: You will have close internal working relationships with Marketing, Retail and Social Enterprises as well as our volunteers. You will engage with a range of external stakeholders to develop relationships, including volunteers, managers and community organisations. You will also work closely with the People and Diversity team to provide coverage and support for key HR priorities and projects. Under the leadership of the Chief People Officer, develop and implement the Strategic Volunteer Strategy including establishing KPIs and monitoring and regular reporting. Perform end to end activities to support the Volunteer Engagement Strategy including recruitment, on boarding, volunteer database management and reporting. Build and maintain positive relationships with volunteers, managers and other stakeholders, which may include delivering presentations and attending expos to attract volunteers. Represent Good Sammy in the volunteer sector, attend events and sector engagement activities. Proactively identify new volunteering partnerships, initiatives and funding opportunities. Build and maintain a Group and Corporate Volunteering Program and Database Oversee the end-to-end process of Group Volunteering, with local councils, corporate, school groups. Design, promote and deliver a suite of corporate volunteer events and experiences that are aligned to Good Sammys strategy and mission. Coordinate organisation wide engagement and support in these activities relevant to the target group. Provide leadership and management to the team of Volunteer Administrative Assistants. Skills And Experiences What you'll bring: Relevant qualification in an area including Human Resources, Public Relations or Marketing desirable. Experience in a similar outward facing role, ideally with a HR or Community Engagement focus. Excellent communication, coordination and time-management skills Proactive self-starter, with demonstrated ability to establish strategic relationships. Confident and engaging communication and presentation delivery skills. Proficient with using Microsoft Office and other relevant platforms. High level of written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive customer (internal and external) relations. Able to plan and execute work to meet deadlines. Able to remain flexible, calm under pressure, and responsive to changes in group dynamics or logistics.
