Job Description: Join the team at our new facility, Berengarra located in Kew Part time Fixed term position available | 22.5 hours per week Be a part of a supportive team environment About the Role As a Health Assistant (Nursing), you will work under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) or their delegate, to assist and support the Registered and Enrolled Nursing team in providing care to our residents. Within this role, the elements of direct and non-direct resident care will be delegated in accordance with the professional judgement of the supervising Registered Nurse, and in accordance with the level of achieved educational preparation and assessed competence of each Health Assistant (Nursing). The Registered Nurse remains accountable for all elements of delegated care. Berengarra compliments a suite of existing St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne residential facilities: Auburn House & Riverside House (each facility with 30 APMH beds); Cambridge House (30 bed mainstream facility); and Prague House (45 bed facility for people with a history of homelessness).
