About the Role 12-month contract, with possible extension options for a further 12 months Hourly rate: $77 to $88 per hour (plus super) Location: Canberra, Sydney or remote Federal Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, BreastScreen Section is seeking a motivated and passionate individual with program management and analytical skills to join the team and help contribute to better health outcomes for Australian women through the BreastScreen Australia (BSA) program. This opportunity requires you to support the delivery of the BreastScreen Australia Accreditation Systems, including future reforms following a recent review of BreastScreen Australia. Working in a small team of 7 staff you will work your responsibilities will include BreastScreen policy development and implementation; BreastScreen clinical, performance, quality and safety monitoring; stakeholder engagement and communication; and collaboration with states and territories on national issues. The BreastScreen Australia Accreditation System supports the ongoing quality improvement of BreastScreen services through monitoring Annual Data Reports against the National Accreditation Standards and reviewing accreditation status of services every four years via peer review site surveys. You will work closely with the National Accreditation Surveyor who co-ordinates and delivers site surveys, the National Quality Management Committee which accredits services and provides advice on quality issues, the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare which supports accreditation data management, BreastScreen jurisdictional Accreditation Managers who support accreditation submissions and the BreastScreen Section which oversees the Accreditation System About You To be considered for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen and have the following skills: Relevant qualifications and experience in a healthcare setting Excellent attention to detail Effective written communications skills Demonstrated ability to think strategically, prioritise project objectives and align with broader strategic direction.
