Job Duties/Essential Functions Loading and unloading of trailers/Trucks Unload Containers and use a clamp to break down the pallets RF Scanning Wrapping and strapping the pallets Operating an electric pallet jack to move pallets of received and sorted merchandise to shipping lanes or to other areas of the depot General upkeep of depot and grounds Other duties as directed Must be able to work on Saturdays Must have warehousing experience and be physically fit Chiller/Cold Storage Distribution experience is an advantage. Chiller/Freezer temperature work required (between 5 to -18 degrees) Must be versatile and keen to work in both Ambient & Chiller and in different departments as per business needs. Ability to operate vehicles, equipment, or machinery Forklift, EPJ, Computer, printer, phone, calculator, handheld two-way radio. Non-Essential functions Assists in other departments where necessary. Qualifications Education/Training: Higher School Certificate preferred. Licenses/Certifications: Must have a Forklift Licence for LOADERS, but not required for SORTERS Knowledge/Skills: Basic Computer Skills Other Skills and Abilities: Chiller/Cold Storage Distribution experience is an advantage. Other specific requirements: The successful candidate will be required to undergo a criminal record check The successful candidate will be required to undergo drug and alcohol screening
