Antonio Catholic School in Morphett Vale is seeking a passionate and experienced OSHC Director to lead our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) and Vacation Care program . Role Details As OSHC Director, you will be responsible for: Designing and implementing recreational activities. Mentoring and supporting staff. Managing administration, budgets, and compliance with National Quality Standards. Collaborating with families and stakeholders to foster an inclusive, positive environment that champions children’s development and continuous improvement. OSHC and Vacation Care Operating Hours Capacity: Up to 80 children OSHC : Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 8:30am and 3:05pm – 6:30pm Vacation Care : Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 6:30pm Key Responsibilities To be successful in this role, you will bring: A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their individual needs, including providing reasonable adjustments for children with a disability. Proven experience in a leadership capacity, including supervising staff and managing emergency or unexpected situations. Strong organisational and time management skills to effectively oversee the day-to-day administration of the OSHC service, including financials. The ability to mentor and support new educators, fostering a collaborative and growth-focused team culture. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children and in partnership with families. A solid understanding of the National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place. Confidence in applying the programming cycle - consolidating student observations, MTOP learning outcomes, individual needs, and community links. Sound knowledge of relevant policies, Work Health and Safety (WHS), and Child Protection obligations. Qualifications and Training We are looking for someone who holds: Preferably, an approved qualification for working with children over preschool age in South Australia, as listed on the ACECQA website.
