Position: Systems Administrator Location: Perth, WA Rate: $550 - $600 p/d Job Type: Contract (3 Months, potential extensions) Position Overview: OUI Recruitment is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator for a 3-month contract with a government department based in Perth. Roles and Responsibilities: Manage and maintain Active Directory infrastructure, including user account management, group policies, and organisational unit structures Lead printer infrastructure upgrade projects, including hardware deployment, driver management, and print server configuration Perform comprehensive system administration tasks across Windows Server environments Conduct detailed audits of existing IT infrastructure to identify areas requiring improvement or remediation Develop and present recommendations for system enhancements and infrastructure optimisation Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with government IT standards Document all system configurations, changes, and audit findings Provide technical support and guidance to internal IT teams Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption during system changes Technical Requirements: In-depth experience with Active Directory administration and management Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments Proven experience with printer infrastructure, print servers, and enterprise printing solutions Proficiency in Group Policy management and implementation Experience with system auditing tools and methodologies We appreciate your interest in this opportunity.
