About the Role Novita offers a broad spectrum of disability support services across multiple locations and we’re often seeking passionate Support Workers to help deliver these services in a meaningful and person-centred way. Potential opportunities include a variety of shift types, including passive overnight shifts, and providing support to clients in both individual and group settings. Ideal applicants will demonstrate: Experience supporting people living with disability, including those with complex needs Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients, families and stakeholders Understanding of person-centred support and promoting independence and dignity Cultural awareness and the ability to work respectfully across diverse backgrounds Strong written and verbal communication skills, including basic digital literacy Education and Qualifications To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following education and certification requirements: Certificate III in Disability or Individual Support (or equivalent) – or willingness to work towards it for regional areas Current driver’s licence (minimum P2) Current Senior First Aid and CPR certification Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check All Novita employees are required to undertake mandatory training relevant to their role We’re serious about safeguarding our clients.
