Talent Focus are seeking a Storeperson for a Permanent position with our client based at Banyo. Ideally you will have experience working in a store’s capacity within a warehouse environment. Hours of Work: Mon to Fri– 7.30am – 3.30pm Key Responsibilities: Receipt of goods to the Label stock and pack on the shelf or as required Receive, unpack and verify receipt of goods in to the warehouse and consumables for the company’s operations Match receipts with purchase orders and check details compare Provide signed confirmation of receipted goods to the correct departments Ensure goods are clearly and correctly marked and stored in the warehouse appropriately so that goods can be easily tracked and traced Responsible for maintenance of consumables (packaging, labelling and painting), and reporting when purchases are required Ensure premises are kept clean and waste is disposed of in accordance with acceptable practices Operate the forklift in a safe and responsible manner, in accordance current and future legislation Accountability for stock entering and leaving warehouse Assist with stock takes as directed Comply with occupational health and safety and security procedures and practices Desired Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required: Warehouse/stores experience desirable but not essential Current forklift licence an advantage but not essential Strong aptitude and attitude - key to your success Great attention to detail Willingness to learn Demonstrate stable work history - proven longevity Hands on worker Locally situated to Banyo Benefits Permanent position | Immediate start Competitive rate of pay Career development Great work environment and friendly supportive team This is an exciting opportunity that will not last long, if you meet the criteria, don’t delay, hit the “ APPLY ” button now and submit an up-to-date resume.
