Hay & Harvest Machinery Operators Western Victoria Dates: Start mid-October, Finish approx. late January Position: We are seeking farm machinery operators for a large family farm in western Victoria to assist with their hay and cereal harvest. As part of a large hay making operation, the work will involve operating self-propelled MacDons with front mounted mower conditioners, various Case & John Deere tractors, hay rakes, bale trailers, JCB telehandlers and front-end loaders etc. These are casual positions for the hay season with consistent work and long days. There will be chaser bin driving work when harvesting cereal crops in December and January and other work loading trucks and augering grain. Additionally, there will be standing straw to be windrowed and baled after harvest, and then stacked and stored on farm. Requirements: Proven experience operating and maintaining similar machinery, self-propelled Macdon and telehandler operating experience highly regarded General knowledge and practical application of farm machinery preventative maintenance and repairs Remuneration: Hourly wages around $33-34/hr with on-farm accommodation and meals through harvest Apply To apply for this position please submit your resume via the "Apply Now" link.
