What You Will Do in Your First Year Take full ownership of the education division, establishing yourself as the division’s evangelist and results-driver. Drive new business growth within the tertiary education sector: identify, engage and close high-value accounts across colleges, universities and tertiary campuses. Sell both hardware (electronic locks, cylinders, control units) and software solutions (access-control management systems) into the education market. Lead, mentor and manage a national team of 3 K-12 sales specialists, setting ambitious targets, tracking performance and fostering a winning culture. Build a strategic pipeline across K-12 and tertiary sectors, nurturing dormant accounts and securing new logos while accelerating cross-sell and upsell opportunities. Position the company as the trusted advisor in education security and access-control, delivering tailored solutions that meet institutional compliance, scalability and user-experience needs. Collaborate with product, marketing and partner teams to localise offers, refine go-to-market messaging and amplify brand impact within the education sector. Drive new business and pipeline development in the tertiary education market, converting high-value opportunities and driving revenue. Leverage your strong stakeholder-management and consultative-sales skills to engage senior decision-makers in the education sector, from procurement to campus ops.
