We are looking for Graduate Accountant Hybrid - between both Blackburn and Dandenong offices for a Accounting Firm to start Immediately Working hours - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm Pay : AUD 55k to AUD 58k per annum Super (Depending on Expereince) KEY RESPONSABILITIES Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Support the reconciliation of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Help prepare BAS, GST, payroll tax, and other statutory compliance reports. Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Support the month-end and year-end closing processes. Liaise with external auditors and provide required documentation when needed. Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions. Participate in process improvement initiatives within the finance department. Undertake other accounting duties as assigned by senior staff. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.(Can be straight from Uni) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage time effectively and work to deadlines. Willingness to learn and develop within the role. Working towards CPA/CA qualification is desirable but not essential. Professional attitude and commitment to ethical standards. Team player with a proactive approach. Eagerness to learn and grow within the accounting profession. Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
