WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING As the Senior Internal Communications Adviser, you will partner with stakeholders across the organisation to identify, plan, develop and implement internal communications that increase staff engagement and connection with Coal Long Service Leave (CLSL), our purpose, vision and strategy. You will: Partner with our Regulatory and Technology teams to craft internal communication strategies for high-profile strategic projects Develop, plan and deliver targeted and engaging communications to internal stakeholders across different mediums and channels Provide advice and guidance on better practice techniques and approaches for impactful internal communications to improve engagement Develop and deliver internal communications that are consistent with CLSL’s approved brand, employee value proposition (EVP) and tone as the custodian and regulator of the Scheme Collate and use data and insights to analyse and evaluate the success of internal communication initiatives to inform future communication activities Contribute to the development, implementation and review of internal communication strategies and operational plans to ensure alignment with organisational strategies and ongoing relevance as the organisation transforms Lead internal communications activities for allocated initiatives and projects Continue to evolve Coal LSL’s internal communications platforms to deliver targeted, impactful and engaging communications. You will have the ability to translate complex information into to clear, compelling narratives that build understanding and engagement, while managing multiple projects and competing priorities. Your background will demonstrate your: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail Experience crafting clear and effective communications for diverse audiences and channels, often at short notice Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple communications and initiatives Well-developed skills in building strong relationships across teams and influencing stakeholders to deliver outcomes Self-starter mindset with a strong results focus and ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team. Ability to take ownership of initiatives and seek support, advice and guidance as needed. Highly developed consulting skills with the ability to elicit stakeholder needs and context to tailor communications to achieve desired outcomes Strong working knowledge of SharePoint and experience managing a SharePoint-based intranet Creative communication skills, developing engaging content for digital platforms; video production experience is highly desirable Experience developing and implementing crisis communications (in an internal capacity) Experience working on complex projects involving legislative requirements and technology changes (preferred) You will have a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or equivalent.
