The role is centred around 1:1 support , helping students to build trust, develop self-regulation, and engage positively in their learning journey. The Role Provide tailored 1:1 mentoring and small group support for pupils with Autism and ADHD Help students develop social communication, emotional regulation and independence Support reintegration into classroom routines and learning activities Implement and monitor individual behaviour and support plans Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO, and therapeutic professionals to ensure cohesive support Model calm, consistent and positive behaviour across the school day About You We’re looking for someone who is: Professional and reliable , yet able to bring energy, warmth and personality when engaging with students Experienced in supporting children or young people — ideally within education, care, or youth settings Confident managing behaviour and building strong, trusting relationships Passionate about supporting young people with Autism, ADHD or additional needs Patient, resilient, and committed to making a lasting impact What’s on Offer Full-time opportunities based in Dagenham A supportive environment that values personal growth and development Ongoing training and mentoring through anzuk, including access to behaviour and SEMH courses A chance to work within a truly child-centred and therapeutic setting where every day makes a difference Requirements Experience working with children or young people (school or similar settings) Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
