With over 30 years expertise in extraction, cleaning, sanitisation, structural demolition and the restoration of water, fire and mould affected properties, our client has a new and exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented Restoration Technician to join their Cranbourne West team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in handyman work, property maintenance, and restoration, who takes pride in their craftsmanship and attention to detail. If you have experience in carpentry, plastering, painting, tiling, or general repairs, and enjoy working in a hands-on role where no two days are the same, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Reporting to the Restoration Manager your main duties will include but are not limited to: Responding promptly to restoration service calls, assessing the extent of damage and develop action plans Attending water/fire/mould affected properties throughout Victoria Commencing mitigation processes and scope of works including extraction, cleaning, sanitisation and structural demolition and reconstruction as necessary Progressive monitoring of restoration and mitigation of multiple sites/projects, as well as in-house restoration procedures Coordinate and collaborate with other team members and Restoration Manager to ensure efficient and timely project completion Maintain proactive communication with clients, providing progress updates and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the restoration process Liaise daily with admin operations in relation to job updates, reporting, scopes, instructions, timesheets, materials and equipment billing Daily compliance and completion of timesheets, worksheets and all administration tasks, utilising internal system programs Adhere to legislative and regulatory requirements with a strong emphasis on WHS legislation General manual labour duties including lifting and frequent driving About You To be successful in this opportunity, you will possess the following: Proven experience in restoration work, specialising in water, fire, and mould damage mitigation an advantage Possession of IICRC certification - WRT or equivalent qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong technology skills including report writing Customer service focused Able to work efficiently and effectively in time-sensitive projects Empathetic nature Full drivers licence Ability to work in physically demanding environments Benefits Benefits will include: Full time permanent position Negotiable salary dependent on experience Further training and accreditation's in water, fire and mould restoration (covered by the company after the trial period) Regular overtime available - On-call and weekend rates LeavePlus (Coinvest) Company vehicle Supportive and friendly team environment If this sounds like the opportunity you have been looking for apply now!
