This role is centred on supervising & leading a team of rangers at the Roma Remote Work Unit, ensuring the effective delivery of operational services. In this role, you'll play a key role in driving the protection of our most wonderful places. The Ideal Candidate: Displays a keen interest in conservation and land management. Participates in prescribed burning, fuel reduction and bushfires. Ability to lead and manage a team to deliver work plans, initiatives and outcomes. Leads the development of annual work programs for maintenance of roads and firebreaks. Establishes and maintains productive relationships with stakeholders including neighbouring landholders, other government departments, industry groups, recreational user groups and traditional owners. Exhibits strong organisational skills and the capacity to handle multiple tasks with precision. Ability to support and share skills with a diverse group of people. Why Join Us?
