About the Role We are seeking a Manager/ Senior Manager to join our growing Project & Infrastructure Advisory (P&IA) team in Adelaide . Our P&IA team provides government and corporate clients in the infrastructure sector with specialist advisory services across all phases of projects, from concept through assessment through to funding/financing and delivery. The national P&IA team currently have approximately 100 specialists with expertise in financial and commercial advice, economics, strategy and planning, business case development, and project management. You will have the opportunity to lead teams working across feasibility, procurement, and other financial and commercial engagements for a diverse range of infrastructure projects across Australia and multiple sectors for both government and private-sector clients. Key responsibilities Managing P&IA assignments and teams, providing leadership and direction across multiple projects and stakeholders Leading financial and commercial analyses based on internally or externally prepared financial modelling and an understanding of the client/project’s objectives Overseeing and guiding the development of project financial models for various projects and assets Developing user friendly and graphical interfaces for complex financial models to support negotiation of interrelated agreements Delivering reports and presentations for a wide variety of stakeholders Collaborating as part of multi-disciplinary teams, including both internal resources and external sub-consultants (or as part of a consortium) Leading comprehensive and compelling proposals for new engagements Supporting business development activities Maintaining and developing strong relationships with clients, project stakeholders, project partners, and the broader industry About You The type of experience you have may include: Experience in mergers/acquisitions, valuations, financial modelling, project or corporate finance and transaction experience, in an investment banking, professional services or consulting environment or relevant government agency, investor or contractor role Understanding of the infrastructure/property sectors and relevant relationships within government agencies and the market Ability to provide authoritative and evidence-based advice to clients in relation to for example: government infrastructure legislation, policy, guidelines and regulation risk allocation, bankability, contract structures and procurement models project agreement terms (e.g. funding, financing, construction, O&M) evaluation criteria, bid evaluation, financing and negotiation tactics Ability to work with integrated multidisciplinary teams (e.g. technical, legal, tax, accounting, insurance) in managing the delivery of infrastructure for governments, sponsors, contractors and/or financers Undertaken feasibility assessments or business cases that have helped to shape a program or project, given stakeholders confidence and resulted in funding commitments Tertiary qualifications in finance and/or law (economics, engineering or other qualifications will also be considered).
