Description About You As a Physical Security Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating secure, compliant, and fit-for-purpose environments that support critical Defence projects. Applicants must hold an active AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance and be based in Adelaide. What you will be involved in Acting as the representative in all facilities and security design reviews Overseeing governance boards and contractor performance for facility delivery Assess investigations, analysis, and risk assessments to identify physical security risks, ensuring successful certification and accreditation across all locations and facilities Managing facility scoping and support activities including security, risk, occupancy, and agreements Providing specialist advice on Protective Security Zone requirements Supporting the transition of facilities to Defence management and ensuring compliance with certification and accreditation processes Liaising with stakeholders to ensure facilities meet operational and security standards What we would like from you Current NV1 AGSVA security clearance Proven experience in facilities design, physical security management, and Defence facility delivery Strong understanding of Defence security frameworks (DSPF, PSPF, ISM) and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) Management Ability to interpret and advise on complex security matters Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Life at Nova – it all adds up!
