About Us Fanola Group Pty Ltd is a formally established community services company based in Darwin, delivering person-centred support to participants under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) . We are expanding our team and looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality assessments and intervention to NDIS participants across Darwin and remote Northern Territory communities . Start part-time , with the potential to grow into full-time as our caseload increases. About the Role You’ll work with people with disabilities across all age groups, supporting them to increase their independence, safety and daily function. Key responsibilities include: Conducting NDIS-relevant assessments , including: Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs) Cognitive Assessments using standardised tools Sensory Assessments to guide behavioural/environmental supports Developing comprehensive reports and goal-oriented therapy plans Recommending assistive technology, home modifications or skill-building programs Working collaboratively with support coordinators, families and other professionals Providing services in the community, at home or via telehealth Supporting clients in line with NDIS Practice Standards and person-centred care principles What We’re Looking For Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and full AHPRA registration Minimum 2 years’ post-graduate experience , ideally working with NDIS participants Strong clinical skills in functional , cognitive and sensory assessment and reporting Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to speak another language (e.g. Spanish ) is a strong advantage Cultural competency and willingness to work in diverse communities, including Aboriginal clients Driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally and remotely Eligibility for NT Ochre Card (Working with Children Check Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one) Eligible for NDIS Worker Screening Check What We Offer Attractive hourly rate based on experience and SCHADS Award Flexibility to start part-time and transition to full-time Opportunity to work with a passionate, ethical and growing team Diverse caseload in both urban and outreach environments A values-driven workplace focused on inclusion, autonomy and clinical quality Apply Now If you are passionate about helping people with disability live with dignity and independence—and have the clinical experience to support NDIS participants— we want to hear from you.
