You will be responsible for driving initiatives across Talent, HR and employee experience. You’ll be an active HR business partner to managers, ensuring our people have the environment, clarity and support they need to do their best work. We are a remote-first company, but have an HQ in Sydney. Your role will also be to balance face-to-face and remote team connections Day-to-day, this could involve leading end-to-end hiring campaigns, improving HR processes, strengthening remote culture and employee engagement, or coaching the team. TEAM STRUCTURE You’ll report to the COO and collaborate closely with managers to build a thriving, high-performance culture. RESPONSIBILITIES Talent Acquisition Own end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a seamless candidate experience from employer brand through onboarding, to attract and secure high-impact talent across Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Design. Partner with hiring managers to clarify role scope, define success, and align hiring practices. Maintain data integrity and deliver recruitment insights via key metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, quality of hire, source-of-hire). Employee Experience & Culture Design and lead high-impact people rituals (e.g., all-hands, virtual events) that reinforce our inclusive, engaging high-performance culture. Manage all employee lifecycle documentation and processes, ensuring access to clear, up-to-date policies, handbooks, and systems. Foster psychological safety, wellness, and belonging across our distributed environment. HR Operations & Office Management Partner with managers to embed practices that promote psychological safety, high performance, and continuous growth. Manage HR administration, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of people data. Contribute to the evolution of People & Culture systems - including performance management, feedback loops, salary benchmarking, L&D, and succession planning. CAPABILITIES Previous HR business partnering and Talent Acquisition experience (this role will be a mix of HR business partnering, recruitment and employee experience) Strong project management and prioritisation skills - able to shift between strategic and operational work. Clear, concise communicator with high stakeholder empathy and alignment. Data-driven thinker with the ability to translate insight into action. High ownership mindset, with attention to detail and follow-through. Pragmatic, hands-on problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments. Empathetic, curious, and solutions-focused.
