St Louis Care is made up of four specialist service areas: St Louis Homes - NDIS-approved provider for younger onset dementia St Louis Home Care - Government-approved and private Support at home care provider St Louis Nursing Home - Boutique residential aged care St Louis Allied Health – Covering both Metro and Fly in Fly Out (FIFO) allied health services supporting South Australian communities Role: Speech Therapist - Integrated Care & FIFO Outreach - Part-Time or Full-Time We are seeking a versatile and passionate Speech Therapist to join our dynamic Allied Health team in a role that spans the full continuum of care – from paediatric NDIS participants to aged care residents, delivered across metropolitan Adelaide and remote South Australian communities via our innovative fly-in fly-out (FIFO) program. This is a rare opportunity to develop expertise across diverse populations while making healthcare accessible to underserved communities. To be successful in this role: Experience or knowledge in the following area: Communication support, assess and treat speech, language, voice, and cognitive-communication disorders. Help maintain independence and quality of life through personalised therapy plans Assist Clients with cognitive-communication challenges due to dementia, brain injury, or neurological conditions. Develop safe swallowing strategies and mealtime plans tailored to each client. Evaluate swallowing function and diagnose dysphagia. Delivering comprehensive speech therapy services to clients across metropolitan Adelaide and remote South Australia, including Home Care Package recipients, NDIS participants (Paediatric and Adult) and supported independent living within our NDIS homes. Educate staff and carers on safe feeding techniques and dysphagia management. Essentials: National Police Clearance (no older than 2 years) Must hold a Bachelor or Master of Speech Pathology and a member of the National Alliance of Self-Regulating Health Professions (NASRHP) NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check Valid SA driver's licence and willingness to fly in small aircraft for outreach Current First Aid and CPR certification Benefits: Flexible working arrangements to suit your lifestyle.
