About the work unit / facility The Cardiac Investigations Unit at Townsville University Hospital delivers advanced cardiac diagnostic services including echocardiography, cardiac implantable electronic device management, and electrophysiology. Competitive salary and benefits Salary between $5557.50 - $5798.90 per fortnight (HP5). 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 14-17.5% loading. About your opportunity This advanced clinical role provides leadership in cardiac physiology services, including echocardiography, electrophysiology, and cardiac device management. You will mentor junior staff, contribute to service improvement, and deliver high-level consultancy across the Cardiac Investigations Unit. Requirements Tertiary qualification in science with a strong human physiology component. Eligibility for membership with a relevant professional association. Postgraduate qualifications in Echocardiography or Electrophysiology highly desirable. Accreditation with ASAR required for Echocardiography duties. Evidence of vaccinations for VPDs as per Queensland Health Policy. * A probationary period may apply.
