About the role In this role, you will provide evidence-based, client-focused clinical pharmacy services to support patient outcomes while developing your skills under professional guidance. You'll rotate through dispensary and clinical areas and actively contribute to a strong culture of patient safety, quality, and continual improvement. Key Responsibilities Deliver clinical pharmacy services to support safe, effective patient care Contribute to discharge planning, ward rounds and continuity of care Provide medication advice and counselling to patients and staff Maintain professional standards and support efficient pharmacy operations Participate in policy, quality improvement and service development activities Keep accurate clinical and departmental records Assist with dispensing and medication supply processes Support training and supervision of students and pharmacy staff Provide culturally safe care for diverse communities Uphold North West Health values, safety standards and clinical governance requirements Requirements Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences. This position participates in a Pharmacy Department roster plan, which may include an 'On Call' Service and weekend work. Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks. This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis. A period of probation may apply.
