About the Opportunity Clarity Health Care is proud to partner with the Carer Gateway program to deliver short-term, focused mental health support to carers across our communities. We’re seeking skilled, compassionate psychologists and mental health clinicians who want to make a tangible difference in the lives of those who spend so much time caring for others. This is a unique opportunity to work with a values-driven organisation that blends clinical excellence, flexibility, and human connection. Locations available: Sunshine Coast, Rockhampton, Bundaberg, and Townsville Both contractor and employment options available. Who You’ll Support Our clients are carers warm, committed individuals who give their time, energy, and love to support family or friends living with health challenges. While deeply rewarding, caring can also bring emotional, physical, and social strain. Your role is to provide evidence-based, practical therapeutic support, helping carers strengthen coping strategies, build resilience, and reconnect with their own wellbeing. About the Role Deliver face-to-face therapeutic sessions at Wellways locations or your own suitable space in the Sunshine Coast, Rockhampton, Bundaberg, or Townsville. Provide clients with up to six sessions, with extensions where clinically indicated. Complete case notes, documentation, and fortnightly session reporting. Use short-term, structured interventions such as CBT, ACT, and solution-focused therapy. Contractors have flexibility to self-manage session scheduling in collaboration with the Clarity team. This is an ideal role for clinicians who value autonomy, impact, and flexibility, and who find purpose in supporting carers through focused, meaningful work. About You Current AHPRA registration (Psychologist or Registered Nurse – Mental Health) or AASW membership (Mental Health accreditation highly regarded). Experience delivering short-term, evidence-based therapy. Warm, professional, and able to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds. Excellent communication and digital record-keeping skills. Able to manage time effectively and meet program KPIs. Passionate about making a real difference and thriving in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
