Locations In this role you can work from Remote, Australia Overview GitHub is growing its Digital Sales team and we're seeking experienced professionals to elevate our digital sales efforts. As a Digital Sales Account Executive, you will support the execution of sales plans using established methodologies to meet GitHub's targets and customer needs and develop and nurture relationships with internal and external partners. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to influence customer engagement strategies, learn from industry-leading sales practices, and contribute to shaping the approaches of our sales operations in a rapidly evolving market. Responsibilities Manage and execute sales plans using established methodologies to meet GitHub's targets and customer needs, while prioritizing accounts and maintaining accountability. Develop and nurture relationships with internal and external partners, including industry leaders and decision-makers, to support account-specific strategies and business transformation plans. Engage with executives and technical decision-makers through consultative interactions to understand and address their business and technology needs, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Assist in structuring account planning and managing lead pipelines, ensuring alignment of sales strategies and resources to achieve desired outcomes. Learn about the business and industry intricacies of assigned accounts, GitHub's position, and direct competitors to enhance strategic planning and execution. Develop value propositions and business plans that align with GitHub's offerings, leveraging solution selling techniques to drive business outcomes and upsell opportunities. Seek and utilize customer feedback to identify satisfaction drivers and implement action plans for continuous improvement of the customer experience. Support the execution of digital sales strategies that leverage online platforms and tools to reach and engage potential customers effectively. Implement personalised sales approaches that cater to the unique needs and preferences of digital customers, enhancing their overall experience with the platform. Qualifications Required Qualifications: 1 year(s) sales experience, OR bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Liberal Arts, or related field, OR equivalent experience. Must be willing to work from the Sydney office two days a week on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
