Join us as our next Business Development Manager – International, Western Markets and lead growth across key leisure markets. Based in Cairns at our Crystalbrook Cairns 5 Star Hotels & Resorts we are looking for an experienced BDM to grow our revenue opportunities from international western markets! This role’s purpose is to generate new opportunities that will convert into stronger market share and growth in overall revenue via face-to-face sales calls, networking, entertainment, training, negotiation and innovation. You will be instrumental in managing our customer relationships to elevate experiences at every opportunity, thereby ensuring repeat business flows. Regular travel and representation at relevant Trade Shows will be part of your day to day, along with on site management of customer engagements across the region. Success will be achieved through proactive business development and by bringing customer insights to life within our hotels. Performance will be measured through a defined schedule of KPIs and customer feedback. In this pivotal role, you will operate as the main point of contact for customers and management alike. Your commercial acumen, self-motivation and organisational strength will be essential, along with your experience in the international leisure sector—preferably gained in a 5-star hotel environment.
