The Pub Bistro has an extensive menu ranging from local seafood and steaks, classic pub grub and family favourite pizzas. The Pavilion Bar & Kitchen showcases the best local sea-to-plate produce and the custom smoker, slow cooking bbq favourite brisket on a daily basis with a seasonal menu, local craft beers, wines and spirits overlooking the crystal blue water of Jervis Bay. Huskisson Hotel is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Chefs to join their team. Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities: Skills in preparing different variety of cuisine Creativity and high presentation standards Ability to create dishes with consistency Skilled in preparing, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes Ability to contribute to menu planning Understanding of food safety and OHS requirements Train and manage cooks and kitchen staff Achieving all safety, hygiene and food quality Should be able to manage daily kitchen operations including ordering To be considered for the position you must possess the following: At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery Ability to excel in a high-volume, high-pressure environment Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry Possess effective communication skills with an approachable manner If you think you meet the above criteria, please apply now.
