This is a unique and exciting Legal Assistant role supporting a great team for this high performing Litigation Property Firm who have an amazing culture and energy. We are looking for a candidate with tenured experience in legal support, boasting strong administrative and legal secretarial assistance skills mainly within the Property area. HOWEVER, if you also have Strata/Commercial experience this may also be considered. You will be mentored by a highly experienced Senior Legal Assistant, so support is always there. This Firm offers a comprehensive range of social activities, the option to WFH 1 x day per week and takes pride in their prioritisation of staff wellbeing and engagement. THE ROLE Drafting and amending legal correspondence Composing briefs Opening and closing of matters Being the first point of contact for Client matters and communication Updating and maintaining electronic filing and PEXA Diary and calendar management Booking travel and accommodation Assisting with Client events and networking Monthly reporting processes Composing WIP and pre-bills efficiently Aiding with additional overflow tasks when required WHAT'S NEEDED Minimum three years as a Legal Assistant with a background in Property, Strata Litigation OR a non-legal background with strong Strata/Property experience Advanced skills in all areas of MS Office suite plus excellent typing speed and accuracy Experience in PEXA High attention to detail and accuracy with all documentation and communication Strong problem-solving skills High level of composure, emphasis on maintaining confidentiality integrity and discretion Strong work ethic, constantly staying proactive Active team player who enjoys building strong relationships with peers FINE PRINT This role is paying up to $90Ks dependent on experience 8.30 am to 5.00 pm WFH 1 x day a week after probation Based in stunning city fringe offices - free shuttle bus from a central point Relaxed culture with an array of funky bars, restaurants and cafes Social Firm with a strong reputation Diverse tasks ensuring a constantly challenging role Continual career development and mentoring
