The Deputy Chief Executive Officer plays a pivotal leadership role in shaping the strategic direction and operational delivery of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality. The Deputy Chief Executive Officer provides high-level expertise across the visitorâs economy, liquor, racing and gaming policy, regulation, and compliance. The role is responsible for leading complex legislative reform, overseeing significant governance, financial and human resources, and ensuring efficient, effective service delivery. With a strong focus on building cross-sector partnerships and driving whole-of-government outcomes, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer operates with a high degree of political acumen, and executive leadership capability to deliver programs and policies that support economic growth across the Northern Territory. An Executive contract of up to 4 years may be offered.
