The Opportunity We're on the hunt for an Assistant Venue Manager to help deliver a world-class guest and team experience. We're looking for a polished and dynamic leader who brings warmth, precision, and energy to every service—someone who puts the guest experience at the forefront and inspires their team to do the same. Reporting to the Venue Manager, you'll support day-to-day operations, contribute to financial performance, and uphold compliance with health, safety, and liquor licensing. You'll be hands-on, collaborative, and ready to roll up your sleeves in a fast-paced, high-standard environment. The Role Support the Venue Manager in leading the venue across people, product, and performance. Be a people leader—energising the team and delivering memorable guest experiences. Mentor and support the Front of House team, including recruitment, onboarding, and training. Manage the floor to maximise service flow and elevate guest experiences. Collaborate with the Head Chef and Events team on menu execution for à la carte and event bookings. Drive consistent excellence in service and a genuine passion for product. Contribute to financial performance including rostering, labour costings, and stock control. Build and nurture a loyal community of locals and regulars. Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Liquor Licensing standards.
