Join a leading civil contractor delivering Tier 1 mining projects Ongoing work secured across multiple operations 2:1 FIFO roster | 12-hour shifts | Immediate starts available About the Role We're seeking experienced Polywelders to join a highly respected civil contractor delivering major pipeline infrastructure across Tier 1 mining operations in WA. You'll be involved in large-scale water infrastructure projects for Rio Tinto and FMG - handling welds, tie-ins, and major pipeline construction. Key Details Roster: 2:1 FIFO | 12-hour day shifts Competitive pay rates available Sites: FMG & Rio Tinto (various Pilbara locations) Start: Immediate | Multiple positions available What You'll Do Operate McElroy (T500, T600, T900) and Dixon (600-1010mm) machines Assist with pipeline installation, tie-ins, trenching, and backfill Conduct QA checks and maintain accurate weld documentation Work safely within site procedures and contribute to team performance What You Need Essential: Valid Polywelding Ticket (within 2 years) Experience across Dixon and McElroy welders (2-5 years preferred) Experience using Data Loggers (Desirable) Excavator, IT Loader, and Skid Steer tickets Chainsaw and Dogging tickets National Police Clearance (within 6 months or willing to obtain) Ability to pass full pre-employment medical and LAB D&A Desirable: HR Licence Rio Tinto / FMG inductions Why Apply Competitive pay rates Consistent project work across major mine sites Strong safety culture and quality camp facilities Great opportunity to secure long-term work with a proven contractor About Zenith Search Zenith Search partners with Australia's leading mining and civil companies to connect skilled operators with quality projects.
