Job description Developing menu items and collaborating with seniors to manage costs and expenses. Preparing, cooking, and presenting food and ensuring the dishes are of the highest quality and are cooked according to set menus Creating and managing menus, and developing new dishes and recipes Supervising kitchen personnel and coordinating efforts to fulfill restaurant needs. Conducting inventory checks in the kitchen and placing supply orders as needed. Estimating restaurant expenses encompassing food, labor, and miscellaneous items. Providing guidance and training to junior staff when necessary. Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and updating policies regularly as needed.
