Key Responsibilities Perform routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment. Inspect engines, transmissions, brakes, and other key vehicle systems to ensure safety and reliability. Carry out repairs and part replacements in line with manufacturer specifications. Conduct thorough road tests to confirm all issues have been resolved. Communicate clearly with customers about vehicle issues and repair options. Maintain accurate service records and job documentation. Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times. Assist with ordering and managing parts inventory as needed. Stay up to date with automotive technology and industry standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the workshop. Provide guidance and support to apprentices and junior staff. Adhere to company policies and uphold The Trustee for KHODR FAMILY TRUST’s reputation for quality service. Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and safely stored. Deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly, can-do attitude. What we are looking for Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent (recognised in Australia) Proven experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic, minimum 1 year Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Sound knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics Excellent communication and teamwork skills Commitment to workplace safety and high-quality workmanship Eligible to work in Australia (citizenship, residency, or appropriate visa)
