With a booming, culturally rich and diverse community, and less than an hourâs drive from the CBD (still within the bounds of Myki and ride-sharing), Melbourneâs North is fast becoming the place to be.   Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join the Transition Care Program and the Support at Home Program.  About Northern Health: Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourneâs rapidly growing outer north.  Services are provided through our five main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.  About the Role: An opportunity for a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist has become available to join our team at Northern Health, working within the Transition Care Program and Support at Home Programs. The Occupational Therapist in this role will be accountable for providing quality client care to clients within these aged care programs, through the application of competent clinical skills in assessment, planning, implementation of treatment and management. The Occupational Therapist will work cooperatively with the other members in the team (including Care Coordinators, Case Managers and Allied Health) to provide evidence-based Occupational Therapy intervention. The role will work will work closely with the wider OT department to drive service development and ensuring a focus on innovations. This position is primarily based at the Bundoora Centre, travel to other sites may be required.  This is a fixed term, full time role until November 2026 with monthly Accrued Day Offâ covering maternity leave  Applications are welcomed for fulltime or partime.  To be successful in this role you will have: Experience and good working knowledge of the community and aged care sectors Proven ability to work autonomously and excel within a multidisplinary team Demonstrated interest in supporting patients quality of life within complex scenarios and environments Well-developed interpersonal and communication work skills A commitment to lifelong learning.  Next Steps . . .
