Your Opportunity As the Global Business Partner, you will: Lead the day-to-day operations of the regional sales and recruitment team to achieve identified revenue goals and objectives in relation to increasing the volume, diversity and quality of the TAFE Queensland International student cohort; Develop and implement sales, recruitment and promotional plans that are tailored to the designated market and consistent with TAFE Queensland strategy, style and standards. This position reports to the Senior Global Business Partner. This is a Temporary, Full-Time opportunity, to July 2026, unless otherwise determined. The position will be based primarily at South Brisbane campus, however you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses. Key Responsibilities Supervise a multi-skilled on and offshore regional sales and recruitment team by: Monitoring workflow and resource allocation Provide advice and support to employees to ensure optimum service delivery Provide coaching, monitoring and staff performance, as well as identifying and delegating activities, priorities, setting targets and performance measures. Lead a strategic portfolio of work, including leading the marketing and student recruitment activities in specified geographical areas as assigned by the Senior Global Business Partner. Liaise with the Senior Global Business Partner and provide reporting on student recruitment activities, KPIs, initiatives, identifying risks, opportunities and their contribution to TAFE Queensland's student recruitment and commercial revenue objectives. Maintain in-depth knowledge of the designated target market in the development of marketing & recruitment strategies and plans, including the delivery of strategic and operational initiatives that are aligned with TAFE Queensland International Education's strategic and core plans. Represent TAFE Queensland at relevant international groups, associations, fairs, expos, conferences and schools to cultivate key relationships and remain at the forefront of industry trends and developments. Strive for the achievement of identified revenue targets from international students, growing TAFE Queensland's international brand reputation and identify and refer offshore business development opportunities as they arise, within designated target market. Act as an escalation point for the Global Business Team for customer enquiries and assist with campus tours, prospective student consults and conversion activities as a business need arises Identify and drive recruitment opportunities with TAFE Queensland partners, study clusters, multinational organisations and educational institutions within designated market that will lead to the achievement of revenue targets onshore, including revenue generation opportunities in relation to commercial clients Maintain currency of knowledge of TAFE Queensland products, Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Framework, legislation in target market, VISA regulations, government and regulatory requirements and provide reliable, professional advice to team members and management for decision making purposes. Oversee performance, compliance and training requirements for International Education Agents maintaining a high-level professional relationship that supports the initiatives of TAFE Queensland International Education. How you will be assessed The ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities: Proven track record in leading international recruitment and sales teams to achieve identified revenue targets and positive team dynamics. Demonstrated experience in adapting to stakeholder needs and requirements as required, developing long standing partnerships and strong internal relationships to achieve business outcomes. Sophisticated knowledge of the vocational education and training (VET), English language courses and Higher Education markets including a working understanding of relevant external legislation including CRICOS, The ESOS Act and relevant TAFE Queensland policies and procedures. High level understanding of the designated market area, including culture and cultural protocols, relevant legislation, standards, regulations and guidelines and the ability to interpret these concepts for application in the context of the role.
