In this role you will: - Manage the planning and resourcing of the centre's training requirements to ensure that all Correctional Officers maintain their qualifications as prescribed by the Agency.- Coordinate and deliver operational training to meet their centre's needs and forecast training requirements and resources to deliver on centre-based training needs most importantly the STC is to provide management with support to ensure correctional officers maintain current competency in their vocational certificate and all mandatory training requirements.- Conduct training needs analysis for centre staff across a range of functions and activities and develop training plans.- Manage the centre's training assessment function; this includes providing support to learners undertaking assessments, providing moderation for trained centre assessors.- Confirmation and quality assurance of assessments prior to progressing to QCS Academy for validation.- Oversee the centre's training administration and records including storage, retrieval and archiving commensurate with RTO standards.- Produce statistical training data and reporting for centre management and the QCS Academy on a regular basis that supports decision making on future training needs and resourcing.- Deliver quality training to staff within the centre and design training programs in conjunction with the QCS Academy.
