About the Role: As a Teacher Aide, your day will be filled with opportunities to support learning, assist teachers, and create a caring, inclusive environment for students. Key responsibilities include: Assisting in classrooms, on excursions, and during sporting activities. Supporting students with diverse learning needs, including those requiring high-level care. Contributing your organisation skills to tasks like managing equipment, compiling class rolls, and clerical duties. Supervising and engaging students during lessons, playground activities, and bus duty. Preparing teaching materials and providing hands-on assistance in practical subjects like science, textiles and cooking. Promoting literacy and numeracy by working with individual students or small groups. Ensuring student safety and wellbeing, including delivering first aid if qualified.
