This full-time position is a Long Service Leave replacement for Semester 1, 2026 , and offers the opportunity to teach across a range of year levels, including: VCE Product Design and Technologies (Units 3&4 and Units 1&2) Year 10 Textiles Year 8 Textiles A House Tutor allotment as part of our Pastoral and Wellbeing program What We’re Looking For We’re seeking a teacher who is: Qualified , with a relevant tertiary qualification in education and teaching methods Experienced in VCE Product Design and Technologies (preferred, but not essential – support will be provided for those new to VCE teaching) Skilled in managing OH&S in a practical classroom, including maintaining student machine training records Collaborative , with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues Engaged , ready to contribute to the full life of the School Registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Certified in Anaphylaxis management or willing to obtain certification before commencement Cleared via a current National Police Check or willing to obtain one prior to starting Why Join St Michael’s?
