Synergie is seeking a Permanent Manager Maintenance and Grounds at Adelaide. Due to the nature of the work, a NDIS worker clearance and Driving License is required to apply as the successful candidate will need to travel between sites across South Australia and Victoria, as required. Pay rate: AUD110,000 to 120,000/annum About the Role As the Manager – Maintenance and Grounds, you’ll take charge of maintenance and gardening operations across multiple aged care and retirement sites. You’ll manage a small team, plan maintenance works, support minor upgrades, and help keep everything running smoothly — from fixing faults to ensuring gardens are tidy and inviting for residents. What You’ll Be Doing Leading the day-to-day maintenance and groundskeeping work across sites. Supervising and supporting the maintenance and gardening team. Planning and coordinating preventative and urgent maintenance tasks. Making sure buildings, equipment, and gardens are safe, clean, and well-kept. Supporting small building and upgrade projects alongside the Capital Projects Manager. Ensuring all work complies with safety rules and aged care regulations. Helping reduce maintenance costs by managing budgets and improving systems. Working closely with site managers, contractors, and internal teams. Reporting regularly to the General Manager – Commercial and Assets. What You’ll Bring Experience managing maintenance and/or grounds services, ideally across multiple locations. Strong understanding of safety regulations and aged care facility requirements. Great people skills – able to lead a team and work well with others. Good organisation and planning skills, with an eye for detail. A valid NDIS Worker Clearance – required. A current Driver’s Licence – required, as travel is involved.
