Darktrace is looking for an Education Specialist to join our cyber security training team. The Education Specialist is a customer focused role that leverages a combination of Educational, Technical and Cyber Security skills to develop and deliver the best learning experience and maximize customer value. You should have a deep interest to learn about cyber security and AI, while always wanting to deliver the best learning experience to our customers. Please note: This role is Hybrid. Three days per week out of our local Darktrace Office. Location: Sydney or Melbourne Key Duties & Responsibilities This exciting and diverse role touches on all aspects of running a global cyber defense education service including: Instructor-led Training Certification Instructional Design (Classroom, Virtual, eLearning & On-Demand) Education Systems (Learning Management Systems, Training Labs) Development of Educational Technologies National and International travel will be required. Skills & Experience A university degree in a technical subject such as engineering, computer science, cyber security, physics or mathematics is required, with a GPA of 3.0 or above. Qualifications in teaching (desirable) Teaching Experience (Commercial or Educational) desired Practical experience with network and security devices/systems, e.g. Cisco, Juniper, firewalls, IDS, IPS, SIEM is desirable but not essential Experience of web technologies and programming/scripting languages (e.g. C, Python, Perl, PHP, Ruby etc.) is also desirable Fluent in English Before we jump into the responsibilities of the role.
