Community/Disability Support Worker Requirements: Must drive and have your own car. A current full Australian driver’s licence. Comprehensive Car Insurance. NDIS Workers Screening Check (Service NSW). Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate. Working with Children Check (WWCC) (optional). Experienced in Manual Handling (hoist), challenging behaviours, and other high-care skills. Previous experience in Disability Support or Assistant in Nursing (AIN). Fluent in English. About the role: The role of the support worker is to provide exceptional service whilst supporting clients to meet their goals as set out in their NDIS plan. This includes but is not limited to: Intensive, flexible, and responsive client-focused support to assist clients in successfully improving their physical and mental health. Develop connections with the community and achieve their goals. Assist in their needs of daily living, domestic assistance, social support, transport, community outings, and so on.
